We are looking for seasonal workers to work with children aged between 5-16 during the school holidays, in the Black Country area (Wolverhampton, Walsall, Solihull, Dudley):
Do you have a skill, craft, or talent that you could teach?
It could be anything, from Knitting/Crochet, magic, origami and beyond – we want to hear from you!
If you have skills and knowledge in Graphic Design or Games Development, we would also like to hear from you!
If you don’t – we still want to hear from you, if you have an interest in technology, video games, 3D printing, robotics and design.
Sessions tend to run between 10.00 am & 2.00 pm, during all school holidays.

The ideal candidate will have the following, although this is not a must:
- DBS (if you don’t hold a current valid check, we shall organise this for you)

Established in 2007, LearnPlay Foundation are passionate about delivering a range of programmes and projects to engage the hard to reach into education, community and personal development. The LearnPlay Foundation provide film production, editing, computer game programming, design, distribution, direct marketing, promotional activities and much more. The team are seeking a passionate, motivated and caring individual to join our team as the Learning & Apprenticeships Lead.
We are looking for an experienced individual, with assessing and coaching capabilities, well-versed in a number of apprenticeship standards such as Junior Content Producer (JCP) and Digital Marketeer.
The ideal candidate would have experience in managing reporting obligations as a subcontractor to a master training provider.
Our new team member would also be involved in:
- Identifying and developing apprenticeship opportunities with employers
- Coordinate the apprenticeship journey from recruitment to timely completion.
- Take overall responsibility for the maintenance, monitoring and development of the successful partnership with employers, apprentices, EPAOs and other collaborators
- Participate in all internal and external quality assurance processes
- Supporting the staff involved in the delivery of apprenticeships
- Meeting personal KPI’s in order for the company to meet its targets
- Coordinating external quality assurance visits
- Following the guidance issued by both the EPAO and The Institute of Apprenticeships, and where appropriate, Awarding Body, with regard to assessment practice and the completion of documentation.
- Demonstrating competence in the application of Health & Safety procedures, including the accurate and timely completion of all Health & Safety paperwork and records related to work-based learning programmes as required.
- Full compliance with our Safeguarding policy & reporting procedures as necessary as well as a comfortability of passing on safeguarding, British Values, Prevent and Equality & Diversity information to learners.
- Full compliance with Quality Assurance systems to ensure consistency and continuous improvement, liaising with appropriate staff to ensure that systems in support of assessment, verification and additional support are fully implemented.
- Undertaking staff development appropriate to the contractual requirements of the post and the needs of the section.
- Ensuring our high level of IAG is delivered to learners in line with our Matrix accreditation.
- Making sure all our onsite and offsite apprentices are current in their Functional Skills qualifications and conduct tutoring sessions with those in need of improving their grades
- Must be an approved assessor under the ESFA definitions and hold TAQA or such-like

Due to the pandemic, all business development is currently being delivered remotely using a range of digital interventions, including Microsoft Teams and Discord. Delivery will move to face to face as and when it is safe and appropriate to do so. As such, successful candidates must be able to travel to our Wolverhampton based office.
Our organisation has a range of clients for whom we provide spectrum design solutions. This includes large-scale solutions for exhibitions, marketing collateral which includes print brochures, presentation folders, business stationery, leaflets and booklets right through to illustrations for books, creatives for above the line advertising and social media channels. We also provide brand inception, consulting and positioning for clients.
Role/Responsibilities:
• Attending client meetings to: understand client requirements, discuss design approach & scope out ideas and update on project progress.
• Work towards becoming proficient in industry standard design software such as Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop et cetera.
• Design creatives for the company social media channels.
• Design still & animated creatives and contribute design to game development, web development and video production department.
• Liaise and oversee design process for client merchandise.
• Understand design for print and all print requirements including spacing, layout, margins et cetera.
• Produce pitch decks, marketing decks and digital design for marketing.

The team are seeking a passionate, motivated and caring individual for the following position – Web Developer Team Member
LearnPlay website development for a range of public, private and community-based organisations across the UK. Our community and charity based clients sector has grown.

Role/Responsibilities:
- Assisting the web development team with all aspects of website and application design.
- Assisting with the testing and maintenance of backend and front-end applications.
- Brainstorming new tech applications such as digital storage and mobile technology.
- Collaborating with developers to implement new web features.
- Keeping up-to-date with the latest technology and programming trends.
- Converting video, audio, written, and graphic components into compatible formats for the web.
- Using user feedback to identify and correct problems with a client’s website.
- Attending client meeting to discuss, scope out requirements in addition to reporting back on progress.

The individual will work within our interactive digital media environment under the supervision of a Team Leader. This is an apprenticeship position and will require the apprentice to undertake learning in order to achieve the Junior Content Producer standard at Level 3.
Role Summary:
There are a number of vacancies available within our Games Development Department.
All team members are responsible for developing new, fresh and exciting materials for a range of clients. Team members are involved in every facet of the game design and development process and are required to attend client meetings.
The roles require team members to be flexible, working within the constraints and limitations that a client may require. Occasionally, they may be required to work at irregular times and locations.
They will be expected to work closely alongside clients throughout the process, to bring a shared vision to life, utilising the strengths of colleagues in and out of the department to achieve the highest quality product possible. Due to the nature of the job, work will often be under scrutiny from other members of the company as well as external clients.
Experience & Skills Required:
- Have a basic knowledge of C# or a desire to learn
- Have a working knowledge of Unity & Blender software or a willingness to learn
- Be keen on learning Game Development practices and/or 3D modelling
- Ability to work in a team and contribute to game development ideas
- Ability to work individually by following specifications
- Design ability with photoshop or illustrator in a Game development capacity (Sprites etc)

Working 30 hours a week, Monday to Thursday between the hours of 9.30 am and 5.30 pm.
National Minimum Wage for an Apprentice is £4.30.
