Meet The Team
Ro established her own marketing and PR firm over 15 years ago working directly with a range of private and public sector clients whilst in her second year at university before moving to The Daily Mail & General Trust (DMGT) where she progressed to Head of Business Development. From DMGT, Ro moved to Bowne Global Inc where she headed up Internet Sales for the digital arm of the business in Edinburgh. Ro is also a qualified corporate lawyer in practice after completing her training contract with Cobbetts LLP. She has over 15 years of creative & PR experience and also heads up LearnPlay Foundation, whilst keeping a watchful eye on the legal side of things.
Simon Gull joined LearnPlay Foundation over 6 years ago where he started as an outreach worker for the business. Simon has learnt our business from the ground up and has had experience in every aspect of what we do. Simon has worked his way up and heads up finance and administrations for the company. He has since become the company’s Head of Finance whilst also managing premier accounts such as Talent Match.
Justin has been with the business for over four & a half years and currently oversees all operations for LearnPlay. In addition, he is Project Lead and Head of operations. Justin’s role is pan-European and he frequently represents the company all over Europe. Justin has designed and overseen some large & complex builds for clients and manages accounts in excess of £1m.
Rachel has been with LearnPlay Foundation since 2010 having commenced as a paid summer intern whilst at university. After graduating, she joined the company on a fulltime basis in a variety of roles before training and qualifying as an NVQ & BTEC Assessor in 2013. As a qualified IQA, Rachel now heads up the assessing & learning side of the business. She has an excellent track record in timely and successful apprenticeship completions.
Andy has been with the business for over 4 years and is now the main IT assessor for LearnPlay. Andy has a natural patience and nurturing personality that allows him to work closely with apprentices and help them realise their potential. He has undertaken most of the NVQ’s that he assesses allowing him a greater understanding of the journey apprentices embark on.
Linsie joined the organisation in 2014 as an admin apprentice and over the last 3 years she has progressed to Head of HR & Assistant Finance Manager. In addition to overseeing our Human Resources department, Linsie is also a Key Account Manager for some of our biggest projects such as Black Country Talent Match. Linsie is often the first voice you will hear when you call the business and she will always do whatever possible to help.
Samuel has been with the business for over 4 years and has now advanced to lead copywriter for LearnPlay Foundation. With an eye for detail, he has written copy for clients PR campaigns, websites, as well as internal publications. Samuel also designs and leads campaigns in addition to managing key clients.
Chris has been with the business for over 3 years and has overseen the development of games for a range of clients locally, nationally & European wide. His problem solving skills and expertise, coupled with his extensive knowledge of games and games development allows Chris and his team to produce exquisite game developments.
