LearnPlay Foundation Wins Contract from WMCA for Cultural Internships
We are thrilled to announce that LearnPlay Foundation has been awarded a grant by the West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA), offers a unique opportunity for young people to become exposed and gain vital experience in the cultural sector.

Through this programme, cultural companies will be matched with young people for internships of up to 16 weeks, allowing them to gain hands-on experience in a thriving sector.

The programme has garnered immense interest from cultural organisations within the Black Country, Birmingham, Solihull & Coventry.

While we are proud of the overwhelming response, we regretfully had to decline participation from several companies due to limited funding. This highlights the critical need for such programmes and the enthusiasm for investing in future cultural professionals.

The following organisations are part of the scheme:

    • Gazebo – Wolverhampton
    • NAC (Newhampton Arts Centre) – Wolverhampton
