    Introduction

    HAVEN

The pandemic saw a national rise in reported cases of domestic abuse
Haven were particularly concerned about children and young people growing up in homes where these behaviours were considered the norm. Children from these households were not aware that these behaviours were unacceptable and in addition, they had no way of determining what abuse is and what is out of the ordinary behaviour.

As such, we worked closely with the client to develop a playable game now hosted on their website, which allows a young person to review behaviours and determine whether they fall into the category of abuse or not. It
also provides signposting to range of services that the child can engage with to get support.

This game has had a soft launch and received much acclaim thus far, it is hoped that it will empower children to make contact with agencies that can further safeguard and protect them.

    HIDDEN COMMUNITIES

It has always been important to our organisation to work with those most risk of marginalisation.

In the last 12 months, we provided free training to young people from travelling communities and worked with an important project aimed at BAME young people that were not free to be themselves as open and integrated members of the LGBTQ community and the community at large due to resistance and intolerance from religious and cultural groups.

We worked with Under Veil, to set up marketing collateral, logos, social channels to help launch the project and run the channels to reach the target group & provide a safe space.
